(noun)- the takeover and removal of a government in an illegal, unconstitutional way by, often by the military

Kleptocracy
(noun)- a government whose corrupt leaders use political power to steal the wealth of their nation, at the expense of the rest of the people. (Thievocracy is a synonym)
Oligarchy
(noun)- a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution
Conscription
(noun)- required enrollment in the military; draft
Suffrage
(noun)- The right to vote
Legislature
(noun)- law-making group made up of elected officials
Constitution
(noun)- a document stating the basic principles of a nation, the powers and duties of the government, and the rights of the people
Absolutism
(noun)- a government in which the leader(s) hold complete power; synonym for dictatorship
Aristocracy
(noun)- the social class made up of people who inherit their wealth and position
Theocracy
(noun)- government in which authority lies in religious leaders
Dictatorship
(noun)- government in which authority lies in one supreme ruler
Monarchy
(noun)- government run by a king, queen or emperor
Democracy
(noun)- government in which the people have control, either directly or through elected representatives; republic
Government
(noun)- A ruling power in a political society that has the authority to make laws, resolve disputes, and make decisions; responsible for providing order to a nation.
