A
  • Degenerative and vertical labral tears

- Unstable lesion such as Bankarts lesion

A
  • Repetitive overhead throwing
  • GRID
  • Scapula Dyskinesia ( movement of the scapula that is dysfunctional
  • Excessive inferior traction ( carrying / dropping or catching a heavy object

A
  • Poorly localized shoulder pain
  • Aggravted with arm behind back + overhead activities
  • Popping or catching

Treatment?

A

Arthroscopy
- debridement ( type 1 fraying and degeneration)
- reattachment of labrum to glenoid
- Fixation (unstable lesion - bankart lesion)
Address shoulder instability
