What is a Trabeculectomy
A
surgical procedure used in treating glaucoma to relieve IOP by removing part o the eyes trabecular meshwork and adjacent structures in the drainage angle of the eye. Allows drainage of aqueous humor from within the eye to underneath the conjunctiva where it is absorbed

What is Iridotomy
A
a laser procedure that creates a small opening in the iris to treat or prevent angle-closure glaucoma. It allows fluid to flow between the front and the back chambers of the eyes
