entero string test - sample from upper intestine - useful when suspected but not detected in stool
giardia/cryptosporidum quik chek RDT
treatment
1st line - metronidazole for 5 days
tinidazole as a single dose
furazolidone
reserve - nitazoxanide albendazole quinacrine mepacrine paromomycin (used in pregnancy)
