It is primary stimulus for ALP is bile obstructionm aking it an important indicator or cholestasis (both intrahepatic and extrahepatic)
GGT will help to steer toward a liver rather than bone problem stimulating ALP

Excess fat accumulation will make parts of the liver LESS dense.
Remember bone is white and it is the densest. So less dense is going to be darker
