Acute onset of: Fever Nausea Vomiting Abdominal pain radiating to the mid back Pain is located in the epigastric or upper abdomen.
Patient will be guarding his abdomen
Cullen sign will be present
grey-turners sign will be present

A
Acute onset of: High fever Anorexia Nausea/Vomiting Left lower quadrant abdominal pain
Signs of acute abdomen:
Rebound tenderness
Rovsing’s sign
Boardlike abdomen
CBC will show:
Leukocytosis
Neutrophilia
Left shift
Presence of bands
