encourage to drink a lot of fluids to get it out of the system
abdominal sonogram
non invasive
fast 8 to 12 hours before (dec amount of gas)
assess for level of cons, orientation and ability to ambulate (IF SEDATED)
anoscopy, proctoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
limited views, they dont go all the way up
