What does jaundice look like in the eyes?
whites of eyes turn yellow
What do spoon shaped nails suggest?
chronic iron deficiency
What does conjunctival pallor suggest?
anaemia
What does xanthelasma suggest?
high cholesterol
What is corneal arcus a sign of?
high cholesterol
What are kayser-fleischer rings?
brown rings that encircle the iris
What causes kayser-fleischer rings?
copper deposition
What do we examine the skin of the face for?
telangiectasia

sore corners of mouth

vitamin deficiencies
What can cause painful glossitis?
vitamin B12 or folate deficiency
