Types I CDR
Crisis Apparitions – ghosts seen by others (family) as they die
Doppelgänger – a duplicate of you and premonition of your death!
Restless Spirits – haunt until exorcised or revenged!
Buzane - Dancing bikini Virgin, pistol in left hand that she shoots at someone in the distance every so often and shouts ‘Revenge!’. Her headless aunt Sophie appears with a broken car steering wheel in her hand. Suddenly an exact copy of her falls out the sky and lands standing facing her to which she shouts ‘Get tha ways yom eith thee!’
Types II PR Po De Ma
Psychic Recording Ghosts – replay the same event from their lives and ignore/are oblivious to, those around them e.g., a battle, the York legionaries marching through the Treasurer’s House
Poltergeist – malevolent, noisy spirits, possibly children centric
Deathbed Apparitions – the dying sometimes see departed loved ones, angels, religious apparitions at the point of their death
Marian Apparitions - visions of the Virgin Mary, e.g.; Lourdes
Buzane - man on deathbed clapping as he watches The bikini Virgin dancing, whilst holding a vinyl record in her other hand, she’s ducking every so often to avoid the flying crockery.
What They Want to do or Say
82% of apparitions appear so that they can communicate something to us, e.g. :-
- A warning of imminent danger
- Comfort the grieving
- Trapped - That they are emotionally tied to a site for some reason?
- Revenge - And of course, that they are trapped by unfinished business, e.g. guilt or revenge!
- A secret they want to reveal?
Buzane - Virgin in bikini, chained to lamppost, can’t get free then snarling in between saying ‘Im sorry for your loss’, she suddenly shouts ‘Look out!’ and ducks as a flying crockery passes overhead.

The hairdresser’s brother’s ghost
The hairdresser’s brother who appeared on the end of her bed years later, aged the same as when he had died and talks to her as though it was just a normal conversation on a normal day. As real as anyone else in the house.
September 2022 my barber’s part time assistant.
The deathbed apparition
An attendee’s father was in bed when his dead father rise up from beneath the bed and appeared at its bottom. The father said ‘Hello’ the Grandfather said, ‘there’s something not right about that pain you’ve been having in your side, get yourself down to the hospital tomorrow’. He said ‘OK’, went there in the morning and was admitted for immediate surgery for appendicitis.
A classic case of a WARNING apparition.

The factory front kiosk ghost
I felt Hector on my fingertips in bed
The glowing lights and Rosie sees the coachman ghost
Lyn’s husband
Husband lying dead on the floor for several minutes, his dog lay next to his body.
Suddenly the dog jumped up and had apparently seen something emerge from the corpse, Lyn however saw nothing.
The dog then followed something from the corpse’s location across the floor to the front window room’s window and then looked out of the window, apparently seeing something ascending into the sky outside.
Scopaesthaesia
The sense or feeling of being stared or glared at by someone unseen, behind or above you, possibly at a considerable distance. AKA the psychic staring effect’ Rupert Sheldrake.
Morphic Resonance
Extending the power of your mind outside of your body via sight or thought, e.g. your life partner knows what you are thinking or what you want. Or, an animal or soldier knows or feels it/he is in a killer’s sights.
The Collective Unconscious
Does not refer to any sort of group mind (collective), but to a piece of each individual psych that inherits the collective experiences and impression of ancestral humanity it is a unique stand-alone memory tag that nevertheless, shares all of humanity’s history.
The asylum inmate and the Paris papers and Sun and sail manifestation.
The little boy in the Bruce Willis film, Medium the TV series.
The Paul and Sue scenarios. Bob has never seen a ghost until the smoke and globe incident, Sue, his wife, sees them often and has become used to their appearance.
Synchronicity
Jung - Designates the meaningful coincidence of equivalence: a) of a psychic (supernatural) and a physical state or event which have no causal relationship to one another. Such synchronistic phenomena occur, for instance, when an inwardly perceived event (dream, vision, premonition, etc.) is seen to have a correspondence in external reality: the inner image of premonition has “come true “. (b) of similar or identical thoughts, dreams etc. occurring at the same time at different places.
The corpse came to dinner.
The door bell rang several times but no one there.
The former ambulance driver now hearse driver came over for dinner.
On the third ringing the home owner said, ‘Do please come in , you’re most welcome’. Paused and eventually closed the door.
The ringing of the door bell ceased and the restless spirit had apparently been able to pass over.
