You separate your target audience based on identifiers like race, sex, age, etc
Geographic Segmentation is used when..
You want to target your audience based on their location.
For Example: the city, country, region, etc.
Behavioral Segmentation is categorizing…
Your target audience based on their actions/interactions with business
For example their purchases, website visits, engagement with social media

When you categorize your targeted audience based on how they live their life and why.
Example: people who like running, people who care about the environment, etc.

Cost varies depending on which channels you use. They have initial and continuous costs. The ROI determines if you use the digital channel or not.
Example: making a social media accounts (initial low cost investment) and then paying for someone to run the social media/ time you have to be consistent with it (continuous investment)

How hard it is to use or manage a channels factors into weather or not you would want to use it to market your business. Sometimes it’s worth it despite difficulty if the ROI is high enough.
