We could develop an app were people could order food put on by companies that otherwise would be going to waste and being thrown out

Our prototype allowed you to select a type of food or food chain and came up with similar things near you, you could then place your order and could select delivery or pick up. A map would be given to show how far along your driver is if opted for delivery

We received feedback such as how will we stop people just ordering all the food if it’s free? How would we make profit and pay our companies and delivery drivers? How would people who can’t access transport be able to partake in our app?

Our app is entirely volunteer based meaning no profit is needed, we provide a delivery system for those who can’t access transport and about the ordering as much food as you can… we didn’t sort that😬

We would use GPS for recommendations of places near you, notifications to confirm orders, security in order to protect customer information such as location and email

Text to speech for those who struggle reading, translation for those who speak other languages, Alexa integration as we are working with AWS and speech recognition for those who stifle with reading and spelling
