is when seeds are planted, they began to grow. This process is called germination.

stages
A
it grows quickly to begin with then slows down. after a few days small side roots begin to grow out of the main root. by the third day the new shoot begins to grow up through the soil. at 1st the plumule of a diet seed is bent over it protects the delicate tip of the shoot from damage.
