A

-economic- Americans bought cars, electrical equipment, clothing - couldnt afford it anymore so German factories closed down - many lost jobs
- trouble US banks demanded money back that lent to germany after WW1. German banks tried to reclaim money from businesses but couldn’t do went bankrupt
