- This treaty allowed Germany to build a fleet one third the size of Britain’s
- Could have the same number or submarines as Britain

What was the disarmament conference in 1933?
- Hitler asked other powers to disarm to his level
- They all refused
- Hitler withdrew from the conference and the league
- It put him in a stronger position to rearm
What was the non- aggression pact with Poland in 1934?
Where Hitler signed a non- aggression pact in 1934 with Poland saying he would not attack them for 10 years.
Reintroduction of conscription (1935)?
Hitler reintroduced conscription, this is where when you reach a certain age you must join the army.
Justified this by saying other countries were increasing there arms and they need to defend themselves
