Evidence
Information that can be used to Prove a statement or support a conclusion.
Primary Source
A document or other record of the past events created by someone who is present during events or in the time period in which they occurred.
Secondary Source
A document or other record of the past events, created by someone who wasn’t in past events or the time period in which they occur.
POV
A persons way of thinking, or approaching a subject as shaped by their character, experience, culture, and history.
Bias
A personal learning, or preference for a particular outlook.
Chronology
The order in which events occur.
Historical Interpretation
The process of finding the meaning, or significance of historical events.
Periodization
The division of history into periods of time.
Spatial Farms
Different geographic perspectives that historians apply to world events.
Universal Standards
Ideas or values, such as human rights, said to apply all people.
Culture
The shared beliefs, practices, and traditions of a group.
Cultural Diffusion
The spread of cultural traits from 1 society or place to another.
Gender Roles
Customs relating to the position of men and women in society.
Hunter-Gatherer
A human who subsits by hunting wild animals and gathering wild plants.
Domestication
A biological process in which the physical characteristics of wild plants and animals change as a result of human integration.
