What happened on September 11, 2001 during Bush’s presidency?
Islamic terrorist (Al-Qaeda) attacked the US- hijacking commercial airplanes. Two planes flew into the twin towers in New York City causing the huge building to collapse and a 3rd plane flew into the Pentagon in Washington DC. There was also a 4th plane that crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers bravely tried to take over the plane. Over 3,000 people died in the attacks.
Why did the US invade Iraq during Bush’s presidency
Bush believed Iraq’s ruler Saddam Hussein was helping the terrorist- also they though Iraq was holding weapons of mass destruction. When Iraq didn’t comply with inspections after the First Gulf War- the US invaded. At first this was successful but as casualties( deaths) occurred and the cost of war increased people in the US stopped liking Bush.

Yes he was but by the time his presidency ended people didn’t like him.
