Is any geographical feature that has to do with land.
Ex: mountains, hills and cliffs
distinctive characteristics
These are the noticeable features of each formation
elevation
The measurement taken that shows how HIGH or LOW a play or geographic feature is on earth from sea level.
erosion
process in which earthen materials are worn away and transported by natural forces such as wind and water.
fertile soil
is soil that can support planting and growing crops
geographic features
formation of the planet that refers to place, area, or region as shown on a map
ex: mountains, rivers, hills, lakes, gulfs, bays ect are all geographic features
glacier
is a persistent body of dense ice that is constantly moving under its own weight.
access
The ability to get to something without anything in the way
inland port
is a port on an inland waterway.
such as river, lake, or canal, which may or may not be connected to the sea
industrial products
Are any products/item that is made in a factory.
agriculture industry
This is a group of people that grow food for everyone.
bay
A bay is a body of water that is much smaller than a gulf but is surrounded by land on at least 3 sides.
Fishing industry
A group of people that fish for a living.
These groups can be a group of small fisherman that work independently or a large company.
Gulf
A body of water that has land on several sides.
ex: The Gulf of Mexico or the Persian Gulf
Hill
Is a landform that gently rises from the ground
