How is a volcano made
A
When two plates collide or separate magma can rise to the crust -the vent this is called an eruption it can be violent due to the pressure the magma is under,when magma wells up from the magma chamber and reaches the surface it is known as lava the lava then cools and hardens,after many eruptions layers of lava and ash build up around the vent and a cone shaped mountain is formed with a crater at the top from which the lava flows.
