Ex. planets (earth), crops, mountains/landforms etc
Human geography
The study of the distribution of networks of people and cultures on Earth’s surface.
Ex. cultures, traditions, tribes etc

Location: location refers to a specific place or position on the earth’s surface

Place: Place refers to locations’ unique physical and human characteristics

Human-environment interaction explores the relationship between human societies and the natural world around them

Movement: Movement refers to the mobility of people, goods, and ideas across various locations

Region: region is concerned with how areas are similar or different based on their physical or cultural characteristics

Arrangement of objects on earth’s surface in relationship to each other
Drift Theory
-Alfred Wegener first discovered this theory in 1912 of how the continents shifted positions on the Earth’s surface.
-Scientists shut down his theory due to a lack of proper evidence/unable to prove HOW the plates moved

-Different plant and animal fossils/ similar rock formations on different continents
-evidence of glaciers, seismometers discover plate boundaries. (written answer)
