The study of the earth and the relationship of people with the earth. Geography describes physical features of the earth such as plants, animals, and landforms of an area.

location made by humans. Ex. Panama Canal, WT, CMU, House
Place (Natural)
location made by nature. Ex. Red Wood Forest, Lake Erie, Grand Canyon, Allegheny River

in danger of dying off
Extinct
to have died off.
