Definition of Quality of Life
General well-being or happiness of a person or society, as measured by meeting basic needs.
What is poverty
Little or no money, possessions, or resources to meet basic needs.
Equality + Inequality
Equality is when all people are treated the same regardless of individual differences
Inequality is when there is a
lack of equality between people.
What is access to education?
Percentage of people who have a reasonable opportunity to go to school
Access to healthcare?
Percentage of people who have reasonable means of getting adequate healthcare
Access to safe water?
Percentage of people who have reasonable access to safe water
Birth rate?
Number of live births per 1000 people in a year

HDI
Human Development Index (HDI) is the result of an annual evaluation of countries made by looking at life expectancy, literacy, and income.
GNI?
Gross National Income (GNI) per person is the total, gross, income of a country in one year, divided by the number of people.
IHDI?
Inequality-adjusted Human Development Index (IHDI) is results of an annual evaluation of countries made by looking at life expectancy, income, and literacy, and how these are distributed among the population.
