HIV Screening process
annual HPV screening with PAP smear within 3 yrs of sexual activity until 3 negative tests; if tests remain negative, can reduce to 1x every 3 yrs until age 70

Why is any change in urinary flow important in men?
urethra passes by prostate gland, when gland is enlarged, can restrict flow of urine; enlargement of prostate can be a sign of prostate cancer
principles of interviewing male adolescent patients
direct matter-of-fact questions without judgement; permission statements (“Often, boys your age…”); ubiquity approach (“when did you…” instead of “do you…”); open door for later conversation
