What did King James oppose in the Geneva Bible?
The annotations - as they were printed in ink, worried readers would take them as sacred truths thus reducing the possibility for reinterpretation (which he needed due to Divine Right)
Why did the Puritans suggest a new translation?
Potentially a power move against the Bishops - attempted, unsuccessful

Need for a stronger post-Reformation King as head of Church and State
