Q

What is Autosomal Linkage?

A

Linkage is when genes that are close to one another on a chromosome are likely to be inherited together.

Linkage shows that some allele combinations are not inherited independently of each other.

Q

What is Epistasis

A

Multiple genes act in unison to produce the phenotype of an organism. Epistasis is when a gene at one locus inhibits the expression of a gene at another locus. Epistasis can be dominant or recessive.
