what is Heredity?
the passing of traits from the parents to the child
what is a dominant trait?
the trait observed in the first generation when parents that have different traits are bread.
what is a recessive trait?
a trait that reappears in the second generation after disappearing in the first generation when parents of different traits are beard.

one set of instructions for an inherited trait.
What is an allele?
one of the alternative forms of a gene that governs a characteristic.
what is a phenotype?
a organisims traits that you can see like hair, eye color, physical structure etc.
what is a genotype?
the entire genetic makeup of an organism
what is probability?
the mathematical chance that something will happen.

every characteristic has a dominant and a recessive trait
what is homozygous?
2 of the same alleles
what is heterozygous?
