Assesses more specific set of symptoms, diagnoses and conditions
Ex: Cardiologist, Dermatologist, Endocrinologist
What is a General Practitioner (GP)?
A general provider (MD) who treat acute and chronic illness and provide preventative care and health education. May take holistic approach to healing

A general provide who diagnosis and treat chronic conditions. Offer treatment for common illnesses and preventative care

Specializes in conditions of the skin
