What is a stimulus
Anything which suggests ideas which can be developed into a drama
Characterisation
The process of fully developing a character
Target audience
A specific group of people at whom a drama is aimed
Mood and atmosphere
Concerns the feelings and emotions aroused by a drama and therefore involves an audience response to what is seen and heard
Directing
To block moves, give notes to the actors
Design concepts
The overall look of the drama e.g. lighting,costume,staging
Purpose
To communicate a message , to entertain, to tell a story , to educate, to explore a theme or issue
Time period (historical)
When the drama takes place

The dialogue used by characters to appropriate the drama and characters
Special effects
Technical elements used to enhance the drama e.g. smoke machine, mirror ball
