Reducible → Irreducible / Incarcerated → Obstructed → Strangulated

1. Irreducible/ Incarcerated = Hernia sac cannot be replaced into abdomen
2. Obstructed = bowel trapped in hernia sac -> lumen obstructed (IO) but blood supply OK
3. Strangulated = blood supply cut off, bowel is dead or dying; 6hrs to gangrene (IO + Tender)
