Why was the Dawes Plan considered detrimental to British exports?
Because it had kickstarted the German economy and the strikes within the Ruhr had been called off, demand for British coal had depleted dramatically. (Shot themselves in the foot).
When did Baldwin grant a subsidy to the coal industry to maintain wages and working hours for 9 months?
