Q

What is the explicit formula for an arithmetic sequence?

A

a(n) = a₁ + (n – 1)d

n= the number you're looking for in the sequence
d= common difference

The a(n) is supposed to have n as a subscript but I can’t get it to work here! Sorry! Don’t multiply them!
