Critical Analysis Skills
Information, Origin, Perspective, Context, Audience, Motive.
Summarising how useful or not useful a source is in a few sentences.
Evaluation
Clearly stated way of information in the source(you must Quote) (in the source)
Explicit
Implies a motivation, an event, a thought it has underlying historical significance.
Implicit
Reason(underlying) of why the source was produced
Motivation/Motive
How reliable and of use a source is to your argument
Usefulness
Usefulness of a source in proving your point.
Effectiveness
A group who opposes a set of ideals being forced upon them, varying from singular people to entire groups.
Resistance
A system of government that is centralised and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state.
Totalitarianism
Denying a statement by directly opposing it to due to the viewpoints in it.
Contradicts
Aligns with another source to back up a point.
Collaborate
This ideal is an idea and movement that holds that the nation should be congruent with the state. As a movement, it presupposes the existence and tends to promote the interests of a particular nation.
Nationalism
The processing of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically. Often through propaganda, force and such
Indoctrination
Information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote a political cause or point of view. Over a period of time makes people believe in it wholeheartedly.
Propaganda
Enforcing strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom to all citizens.
Authoritarian
The complete and unwavering support from a person or group towards an entity- from a human to perhaps an ideology.
