A

With Maximillian, Henry agreed to send 3,000 troops and Maximillian would do the same, but Maximillian didn’t do the same did not fulfil his side of the Bargain - Made peace with Charles VII

Why did Henry VII have a weak claim to the throne?

A

He was a usurper. His claim to the throne of England was weak because he inherited it through his mother, Margaret Beaufort, who was descended from an illegitimate branch of the Lancastrians.

What was Patronage?

A

Giving the positions of power, titles, and Land. Henry made it clear this came from as a result of good service and not the hope of good service.
