¿Cómo es tu instituto? ¿Qué instalaciones tiene
Mi instituto se llama Archbishop Blanch y es publico y femenino. Está bastante cerca del centro de Liverpool. Diria que mi insti es muy grande y moderna. Se trata de un edificio nuevo con diferentes instalaciones. Por ejemplo, tenemos unos laboratorios donde estudiamos Ciencias. No obstante, no tenemos piscina . Lo bueno es que los profesores son simpáticos y sacamos buenas notas.
En mi opinión, mi instituto es muy grande ya que hay aproximadamente mil estudiantes y cien profesores. Se trata de un edificio nuevo con diferentes instalaciones. Por ejemplo, tenemos unos laboratorios donde estudiamos Ciencias y una biblioteca con muchos libros. Sin embargo, lo malo es que tenemos demasiados exámenes. Me encanta mi instituto.
TRANSLATION - My school is called Archbishop Blanch. It is a public school for girls in high school. It is quite close to the center of Liverpool. In my opinion, my school is very big as there are approximately a thousand students and a hundred teachers. It is a new building with different facilities. For example, we have some laboratories where we study Science and a library with many books. However, we do not have a swimming pool. The good thing is that the teachers are friendly and we get good grades. However, the bad thing is that we have too many exams. I love my school.

Mis asignaturas favoritas son las matemáticas puesto que siempre me han interesado.Además, se me da muy bien y la profesora explica bien. También pienso que las matemáticas son útiles que la tecnológica
Por otra parte, no me gusta nada el dibujo dado que no se me da bien y no me interesa. Tampoco no es útil para mi futuro.
¡Espero aprobar los exámenes a final de curso pero voy a tener que estudiar mucho.
TRANSLATION - My favorite subject is maths since I have always been interested in it. Furthermore, I am very good at it and the teacher explains well. I also think that maths is more useful than technology. On the other hand, I don’t like art at all since I’m not good at it and it doesn’t interest me. And, it is not useful for my future. Lo bueno de mi instituto es que los profesores son amables y tenemos muchas oportunidades. No obstante, lo malo es que hay mucho estrés durante los exámenes y tenemos demasiados deberes.
TRANSLATION - The good thing about my school is that the teachers are kind and we have many opportunities. However, the bad thing is that there is a lot of stress during exams and we have too much homework.
¿Qué hiciste ayer en tu instituto?

Ayer llegué a mi instituto a las ocho y cuarto. Antes de las clases hablé con mis amigas y desayuné en la cantina. Después, a las ocho y media tuve quince minutos de tutoría y después, tuve cinco clases diferentes. En clase de ciencias aprendimos sobre la tabla periódica Además, hice un examen de español, pienso que fue muy difícil y espero haberlo aprobado.
En el recreo,hablé con mis amigas y comí algo en la cantina. y a la hora de comer estudié para mi examen. Al final del día, mi amiga y yo fuimos a casa en autobús. ¡Fue un día agotador!
TRANSLATION - Yesterday I arrived at my school at a quarter past eight. Before classes I talked with my friends and had breakfast in the canteen. Then, at half past eight I had fifteen minutes of tutoring and after that, I had five different classes. In science class we learned about the periodic table. Also, I took a Spanish exam, I think it was very difficult and I hope I passed it. At recess, I talked with my friends and ate something in the canteen. and at lunchtime I studied for my exam. At the end of the day, my friend and I took the bus home. It was an exhausting day!

mi, personalmente,me encanta. Tenemos que llevar una chaqueta marino con la insignia del instituto y una camisa azul claro.
Personalmente, pienso que el uniforme es bastante formal y práctico además hay que admitir que el uniforme mejora la disciplina.
Si pudiera elegir, preferiría llevar mi propia ropa. Por ejemplo, un jersey. Por otro lado, pienso que mi uniforme de primaria era más feo que el uniforme de Archbishop Blanch tenía que llevar un vestido azul.
TRANSLATION - At Archbishop Blanch it is mandatory to wear a uniform and I, personally, love it. We have to wear a navy jacket with the school logo and a light blue shirt. Personally, I think that the uniform is quite formal and practical, and it must be admitted that the uniform improves discipline. If I had the choice, I would prefer to wear my own clothes. For example, a sweater. On the other hand, I think my primary school uniform was uglier than the Archbishop’s uniform. Blanch had to wear a blue dress.
¿Qué piensas de las otras normas de …….?
La verdad es que hay muchas normas. Por ejemplo, tenemos que respetar a los demás también hay que ser puntual. No obstante, no está permitido usar el móvil durante el día.
Para mi, la norma más importante es prestar atención en clase.
Creo que las normas sirven para ayudar a los estudiantes a sacar buenas notas.

Sin embargo, pienso que hay muchas normas y algunas no son tan necesarias como otras.

TRANSLATION - The truth is that there are many rules. For example, we have to respect others, we also have to be punctual. However, it is not allowed to wear earrings or makeup and we cannot use our cell phones during the day. For me, the most important rule is to pay attention in class. Bueno, normalmente salgo de casa a las ocho menos cuarto y voy al insti a en coche. En un día típico en Archbishop Blanch. empezamos a las ocho y media todos los días. Tenemos quince minutos de tutoría y cinco clases cada día. Cada clase dura una hora y terminamos a las dos y media. Después, algunos días tenemos clubs. Por ejemplo, yo hago baile los jueves. Tenemos un recreo que dura quince minutos y media hora para el almuerzo. Durante el almuerzo normalmente voy a la cantina con mis amigas. Al final del día, vuelvo a casa con mis padres en autobús.
TRANSLATION - Well, I usually leave the house at a quarter to eight and go to school by car. On a typical day at Archbishop Blanch. We start at eight thirty every day. We have fifteen minutes of tutoring and five classes each day. Each class lasts one hour and we finish at two thirty. Then, some days we have clubs. For example, I dance on Thursdays. We have recess that lasts fifteen minutes and half an hour for lunch. During lunch I usually go to the canteen with my friends. At the end of the day, I return home to my parents by bus.
¿Qué planes tienes para este trimestre?
Bueno, pues diría que este trimestre será muy duro porque tengo muchos exámenes de GCSE. Espero que todo salga bien y saque buenas notas.
Para eso, tendré que trabajar de sol a sol todos los días. Después de haber terminado los exámenes ire de vacaciones a espana con mis amiga. Pienso que valdrá la pena porque voy a disfrutar mucho del verano.
TRANSLATION - Well, I would say that this term will be very hard because I have a lot of GCSE exams. I hope everything goes well and I get good grades. For that, I will have to work from dawn to dusk every day. After finishing my exams I’m going on vacation to Italy with my friends. I think it will be worth it because I will enjoy it much of the summer.

Claro que sí. El mes pasado en noviembre fui de viaje a España con mi insti. Fuimos en avión desde Liverpool a Málaga y el viajé duró cinco días y Durante el viaje pasé el tiempo con mis amigas y hacía buen tiempo. Diría que fue un viaje inolvidable. Estaba muy cansada pero me lo pasé muy bien y tengo ganas volver en el futuro y quizas este verano o el proximo

TRANSLATION - Of course. Last month in September I went on a trip to Spain with my school. We went by plane from Liverpool to Malaga and the trip lasted for five days. During the trip I spent time with my friends. We arrived quite early and it was a good time. First we went sightseeing and then I bought souvenirs for my family. I would say it was an unforgettable trip. I was very tired but I had a great time and I look forward to returning in the future.
