- Why are you interested in corporate finance, specifically in M&A?
I am drawn to corporate finance because it combines strategic thinking with analytical skills to drive critical business decisions. Specifically, M&A excites me because of its impact on shaping industries, fostering growth, and creating value for stakeholders. I enjoy the challenge of analyzing businesses, identifying synergies, and working on deals that can transform companies and satisfy founders. The dynamic and fast-paced nature of M&A keeps me engaged and motivated to continuously learn and improve. I’ve done some case studies at the university of Antwerp which I enjoyed and this boosted interest in M&A.

I believe I am a strong fit for this role because of my combination of analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for M&A as well as my motivation to grow, learn and expand my network in the financial industry. I bring a solid foundation in financial analysis, valuation methods, and market research, gained through my academic background and practical experience. Beyond technical skills, I am a strong communicator and team player, which allows me to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues. My proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning make me confident I can contribute to Summit’s success. Furthermore, I could introduce operational aid in creating and using data bases and so on.

I bring a unique combination of skills and experiences that make me well-suited for this role. Academically, I have a strong foundation in finance, economics, business and accounting, which has equipped me with the tools to analyze financial statements, build valuation models, and assess market trends and opportunities.
Professionally, my experience at CFO-rent allowed me to work on marketanalysis, financialanalysis, and financing, where I gained hands-on experience in evaluating companies and collaborating with teams. My internship at Viva translate gave me the necessary insights on market analysis, company understanding, and working together with stake holders to make tailor-made recommendations.
Additionally, my ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn ensure that I can contribute meaningfully to Summit from day one.
- Where do you see yourself in five years, and how does this role align with your goals?
In five years, I see myself as a well-rounded M&A advisor, leading deals and providing strategic guidance to clients. I aspire to develop deep expertise in corporate finance and build strong relationships in the industry. This role at Summit Corporate Finance is the perfect step toward achieving these goals because it provides the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, work on diverse and impactful projects, and grow together with the firm.
- Have you worked on projects or internships related to corporate finance or M&A?
Yes, I have been fortunate to gain experience in corporate finance through CFO rent. For example, during my time there, I worked on a valuation project for Wippli, where I analyzed financial statements, conducted market research, and helped building financial models to determine the company’s fair value for upcoming funding rounds. Additionally, I assisted in creating presentations and pitchdesks for Venture capitals, which improved my ability to present complex financial data clearly. These experiences have given me a strong foundation and enthusiasm for a career in finance.
