General Airbus Operations Flashcards

Q

How does the sidestick push button work?

A

When you push the button you lock out the other sidestick.

Hold it for more than 40 seconds and it deactivates the other stick.

You can reactivate the stick by pressing the button.

A ECAM alert “side stick fault” automatically deactivates the affected stick, so hence no procedure.
