A

From Schedule 4A a SPC gives similar protection to ap patent beyond the expiration of the patent to compensate for time lost for achieving regulatory approval.
SPC is limited to the product that achieves regulatory approval
EG new drugs may take 10 years to get to market
Or plant protection products that need environmental approval
