Supervision of G3 Instructor means
G1 -on the premises or
- flying, can be contacted within 1 hour.
Student flight records must be complete by
7 days after the flight.

6 months

How long must student records of ground training, flight test, flight reviews, and logbook endorsement be kept?
7 years
How often must a student be checked if taught by a G3? And by who
G1 or 2 at periods not exceeding 3 months, or 15hrs dual, whichever is first
A student pilot can only be authorised to do a solo flight if
They’ve been declared safe to do such a sequence by a G2 or above, and
Have had a dual flight check withing the preceding 14 days
Additional flight crew members may be carried when:
- theyre an instructor, flying operations inspector or person approved by HOO ; or
- they’re another student doing nav training with the school, and it’s a xcounty flight
What height limitations are there on engine failure during take off?
Must be less than 10 ft off the ground
What altitude limitations are there for engine failure after take off?
Must be over 300ft
Privileges of Snr3?
Sending students solo where they’ve previously completed the exercise as PIC (sent by G2+)
