Cormack and lehane grade: 1 - most of the glottis 2- almost half the glottis At worst only arytenoids 3- only epiglottis 4- no laryngeal structures

3- only soft palate
4- soft palate not visible

ASA grade

1- normal 2- mild systemic ds 3-severe sys ds 4- constant threat to life 5- not expected to survive 6- brain dead, organ removal E - suffix; emergency
