Peer formation becomes an important part of adolescene. Young people cope with changes in terms of physical, sexual, social and emotional factors. These factors build up pressure and cause confusion, leading to identity crisis.

Why there are gender roles and stereotypes in our society?
It is simply because, the stereotype is a widely accepted judgement and bias about a person or group.
Eventhough it’s overly simplified and not always accurate, there will be unequal and unfair treatment because of a person’s gender.
How do gender stereotypes affect people?
This may affect the person’s emotion and personality and will experience inequallity and unfair treatment by society. Our society has a set of ideas about how we expect men and women to dress, behave and present themselves.
Does gender stereotypes are dangerous ?
Yes. Because they can cause a person to be disoriented in perception.
