Women in politics are marginalised and trivialised by the media in a way that men aren’t.
Why does gender matter in politics?
Despite having full legal equality, women are underrepresented and not treated equally. This impairs the ability of women to participate in the policy process; potentially have less issues that primary effect women on the agenda

There is a gender pay gap, power often comes from money.
