1. Set up tank with water, agar and current
2. Add wells to agar gel
3. add normal DNA to well 1 and other comparison DNA to other wells
4. conduct a current through the Gel
5. Small DNA fragments will travel further because of less friction, while larger fragments will travels slower because of more friction
6. analyse the lines to determine differences and similarities
