Deviation from Regulations The pilot in command may depart from a Civil Aviation Regulation in circumstances that render such departure absolutely necessary in the interests of safety. The pilot in command shall submit a written report to the GCAA within 24 hours. (CARS III 1.3.2)

Each pilot in command who deviates from an ATC clearance or instruction, or any rule of this Part, shall upon the request of ATC or the GCAA, submit a detailed written report of that emergancy deviation whithin 48 hours to the GCAA, PO Box 6558, Abu Dhabi, (CARS III 2.23.1.7)
