Loss of vasomotor control with wide fluctuations in BP

Features of MFS Subtype of GBS
A
- Ophthalmoplegia (often with pupillary paralysis)
- Ataxia and areflexia of limbs without weakness
- anti-GQ1b antibodies (90%)

How is IVIg administered in GBS?
A
IVIg is administered as five daily infusions for a total dose of 2 g/kg body weight.

How is plasmapheresis done?
A
A course of plasmapheresis usually consists of ~40–50 mL/kg PE four to five times over a week.
