Reducing weight and stopping smoking will improve symptoms, avoid food that triggers symptoms such as the usual suspects are chocolate, alcohol, caffeine, rich, spicy or fatty foods. Avoiding these can improve symptoms but be realistic, they might be able to cut them out completely!
