- Follicular hyperkeratosis and perifollicular haemorrhage
- Ecchymosis, easy bruising
- Poor wound healing
- Gingivitis with bleeding and receding gums
- Sjogren’s syndrome
- Arthralgia
- Oedema
- Impaired wound healing
- Generalised symptoms such as weakness, malaise, anorexia and depression
