What is the clinical presentation of gastric adenomcarcinoma?
A
Most present late, commonly with:
- Epigastic pain
- Weight loss
- Anorexia
Other features:
- Haematemesis
- Anaemia
- Cachexia

What investigations are indicated in suspected gastric adenocarcinoma?
A
- Endoscopy - visualise and biopsy.
- FBC = anaemia
- LFTs = metastases
- CXR = pulmonary metastases and lymph nodes
