How is gas pressure created in a container
The gas particles collide (crash into) the wall of the container.
When the gas particles collide a lot with the container does this higher or lower the gas pressure
Higher. the more they collide the higher the pressure (
There are three ways you can increase the gas pressure in a container. All of them will make the particles collide more. Name them
1) Compress (push down) the gas so the volume increases and they collide more.
2) Increase the amount of gas particles so they collide more.
3) Heat them up so they move about more and collide more.
