- Normal step height/ foot drop
- Symmetrical
- Smoothness of heel strike, toe off.

- Shoulders - muscle wasting/ symmetry
- Elbow extension - carrying angle 15
- Quadriceps - muscle bulk
- Knees - swelling/ defformity
- Feet - hallux valgus or varus

- Cervical spine - hyperlordosis
- Thoracic spine - degree of kyphosis
- Lumbar spine - lordosis
- Knees - hyperflexion
- Foot arches - inspect arches - pes planus/ pes cavus

- Spinal alignment - scolioses
- iliac crest alignment
- Gluteal muscle bulk
- Knees - popliteal swellings

ARMS
A
Arms muscle bulk

- Hands outstretched - inspect back of hands
- supinate hands - inspect palm muscle bulk
- Make a fist
- power grip
- Precision grip - thumb to each finger
- MCP Squeeze

LEGS (lying down)
A
- Passive full knee flexion + extension
- Passive internal rotation of hip joint
- Patellar tap
- Inspect feet for callaces and deformity
- MTP squeeze

- Cervical - ear to shoulder

- Lumber flexion - two fingers on spine
