Galatians Verses Flashcards
6:14
But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has
been crucified to me, and I to the world.
6:9
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
6:7-8
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
5:24-25
Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit,
let us also walk by the Spirit.
5:22-23a
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
5:13
For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but
through love serve one another.
5:1
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
4:4-7
But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba! Father!
3:26-28
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
3:7, 10a
Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse.
3:2-3
This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
2:19-20
For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
2:16
nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we
have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
1:4
who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our
God and Father,
