Q

How are they protected

A

The Galapagos are protected because they have a maximum of two boat visits a day and have a fixed itinerary and local guides, which have lots of knowledge take you around. You stay on the trail as a tourist can walk into nesting areas and you don’t leave anything on the Galapagos like litter and if you see litter pick it up. You don’t feed the wild life as it could be harmful and you don’t touch the wildlife either. Report any inappropriate behaviour
